Disclaimer – Wasn’t Me

Credit Card Theft

Seems like everyone is doing it. Not a good excuse, but here goes:

I write this blog myself. Unless plainly indicated, such as “I found this great post on Jane Doe’s Blog.”

I went to college and know what plagiarism is. So I don’t do it, and neither should you.  I’ll be happy to share, but you must play nice and not steal my stuff.

When it comes to pictures on this blog. I try to stick with public domain or credit to the rightful owner as specifically as I know how. If you think there is a picture on this blog that belongs to you and it is not properly indicated, please contact me and I will fix it ASAP or remove it. Your choice. Just don’t crab at me. I hate that.

Q) What is the punishment for Plagiarism? A) You will be strung up by your snarglies and shot at dawn. (at least that’s what we do here in Texas)

Plagiarism in the Digital Age: Voices from the Front Lines:

According to the Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary, to “plagiarize” means

  • to steal and pass off (the ideas or words of another) as one’s own
  • to use (another’s production) without crediting the source
  • to commit literary theft
  • to present as new and original an idea or product derived from an existing source.

In other words, plagiarism is an act of fraud. It involves both stealing someone else’s work and lying about it afterward.

  2. oooh, this is neat. maybe I should put something like this on mine. I’m sure everyone will want my stuff. hahaha But, seriously, they might want yours.

    1. Your stuff is cool enough to steal! I just don’t like it when people pirate stuff and then put it on a tacky page with nothing but ad links, pop up windows, and all sorts of trash ware.

  3. Thanks for stopping by thedaysman.
